With the M5 Motorway extensions Mariners Cove is now only 30 minutes by car from the Sydney International and Domestic Airports. It is also in close proximity to public transport for travel to the Sydney CBD. The Olympic Park railway station and Sydney - Parramatta Rivercat ferry wharf are both within easy walking distance. (About 20 minutes). Woolworth's Supermarkets have a store located in the close by shopping centre at Newington. (2.5 klms away). It is built on the site of the Sydney 2000 Athletes Village Complex.
